we assume that most of our original wavefunction is Gaussian and/or slightly offset from the position or trap, this should allow us to see how our wavefunction “rolls” back into our old trap, for states.If we run the simulation long enough with a reasonably small time step for this purpose, all higher energy states will almost certainly disappear.This means we can view the ground state of our structure by running the simulation in mythical time, which is an incredibly functional feature!If we run the same simulation as above in imaginary time, we should see our wave function move smoothly
